Enough have Signed Up for Course

Thank you for signing up to my course. We have enough student to start the course as planned.

However, there are still a few places left on "Enskt skeið nr. 1100". The enrollment site - tilmelding.kvoldskulin.fo - will reopen Friday morning. I have received this mail from the evening school:

"Enn eru nøkur fá pláss eftir til ávís skeið og tað er ikki fullteknað til títt skeið. Heimasíðan, www.kvoldskulin.fo, verður latin upp aftur fyri tilmeldingum komandi fríggjadag kl. 09:00. Tilmeldingin verður opin til mánadagin 19. Sept. 2011."

Welcome to English with Sigga

Her er ein enskur tekstur, tit eru vælkomin at lesa. Tað kann vera at hann er torførur, men tað bilar einki! Tit skula sjálvandi læra eitt sindur á skeiðnum, ikki skilja alt beinanvegin.

Nú spæla vit bara at tað er skúlating, sum tit brúka upp til 30 minuttir um vikuna uppá: So kunna tit lesa tekstin nakrar ferðir, finna onkur orð í orðabókini, og síðani skriva tey trý torførastu orðini tit finna í tekstinum á linjurnar:

My name is Sigga. I expect you are here because of the listing in the Evening School pamphlet

I hope to be your English teacher this winter. You can sign up for my course (as well as one other English course), at the school's website or by visiting the office in person Monday evening.

More information is available on the school's website.

My first lesson will be on Thursday, September 29, 20:00 – 21:40 in the Kvøldskúli-building.

We will be practicing  greetings. We will also spend time getting to know the people on the course. I've called the lesson: "1st Lesson: My name is....".

Please, prepare a little for this lesson.

Practice telling people your name and a bit about yourself.

The lesson on this site might be useful. Give it a try!

Bring these items every time:
